The Winchester Model 1897, or Model 97, was one of the first pump-action shotguns ever produced. The design is a further improvement on John Browning‚‚s Model 1893 and was widely used by the military and outdoorsmen in a variety of barrel lengths and configurations.
This 12-gauge Model 97 has a 2 3/4\" chamber and CYL bore. \"Bellingham Police Dept.\" is stamped into the receiver.
