Description:
SOLD This Remington 1858 New Model is much better than most you will see. A very nice amount of the original bright and shiny blue finish remains. The action is very tight. It works exactly as it should. Bore in the 8" barrel is excellent. It is bright and shiny and much better than most. As shown in the pictures, all numbers match including the grips. All inspector marks are complete. Notice there is a very nice cartouche on the left grip panel. It is GP which stands for Giles Porter. There is also a J on the bottom of each grip.
