Description:
This Savage Model 99 Takedown was manufactured in 1937 and remains in very good overall condition. Wood is solid with a nice patina showing only a few light use marks. Barrel retains most original blue with light oxidation all over. Blue is worn totally from bottom of receiver and very little case color left on lever. Bore is excellent! Gun has an aftermarket screw holding takedown button in place. Original rear sight has been replaced with dovetailed insert. Redhead vented butt pad added. Rear sling swivel stud has been added and new hole drilled. Complete with Burris 3-9X Fullfield II scope with Ballistic Plex reticle. .300 Savage
