Description:
This Savage Model 99 Takedown was manufactured in 1927 and remains in very good overall condition. Wood is solid with some flaking in places and some wear to bare wood. Light scratches and dings all over stock. Barrel retains good original blue but has oxidation all over. Receiver also shows some light oxidation. Bore is excellent. Brass front post & bead sight has been painted black with red at some point. Empty chamber indicator and cartridge counter. Complete with sling swivel studs and leather sling. If only they could tell us where they have been! .300 Savage
