Remington Model 572 - Fieldmaster - Slide Action - .22 LR Rifle - Smooth Monte Carlo pistol grip style stock and grooved forend. Tubular magazine with 15 LR capacity. Can also accept short and long rifle ammo. 23 In. long barrel with adj. rear sight and front bead sight. Receiver grooved for scope. Includes a Simmons 3x9x40 scope in very good condition with clear lens and see- thru scope rings.Cross bolt safety. Wgt 6 lbs. Bore is clean and bright. Butt pad in excellent conditioin. Barrel and receiver are retaining approx. 90% bluing. Stock and forend are in excellent condition with minimal handling marks. The overall condition is exceptional for the age of this rifle with minimal use. Includes new soft sleeve. Remington started manufacturing the model 572 in 1958. Known as well built and extremely reliable. This one was manufactured in 1980. Nice addition to any collection.
