Description:
Very good example of an over-and-under hammered combination gun produced by Johann Kalezky. The engraved firearm features a smooth bored 16-gauge barrel over an 8x57mm JR (Rimmed) rifled barrel, both with single extractors. With blued barrels and case-hardened receiver, the gun is an excellent example of Austrian craftsmanship. The barrel has a dovetailed mount for mounting a period removable telescopic sight, with a single front bead and twin rear folding leaf sights. The case-hardened receiver features scroll engraving with the case-hardened trigger guard also engraved. The rifled barrel has a set trigger. The wood is in good condition with handling marks expected of a gun this age. Steel is very good with handling marks and the right hammer has a chip missing. An excellent example of a period piece. 16 Gauge/7.8x57R
