Mauser ES340B .22LR single shot rifle/scope for sale. I have had this rifle for many years and have cared for it well. The bore is perfect. The bolt handle has been professionally altered to function with the pictured Bausch and Lomb Balvar 1-6x scope, a good optic. The trigger is single stage and breaks cleanly with a light, crisp pull. The bolt easily chambers rounds from a beautifully machined feeding ramp. Overall, the rifle exhibits excellent German craftsmanship, and is very accurate to boot (see targets). The scope, which is in excellent condition, complements the rifle well and is included in the price. The stock, which is moderately figured, has expected dings from its 90 year life, but it is sound, and exhibits a deeply impressed Mauser logo. There are some small scratches in the blue finish on the metal, but the blueing is easily 90% and deep.The bore is perfect. This is a great rifle for the person seeking a classic small game .22LR.
