Description:
Almost "Pristine/Like New" Colt-Sauer drilling Model 3000 in best caliber rifle barrel, i.e. 30-06 Springfield under 12 ga. shotgun barrels.
Wood has no noticable marks. Barrels have no rust or known wear.
Nicely engraved with American White Tail Deer on left and Elk on Right.
Added Limbsaver "Nitro Gring-To-Fit" recoil pad to tame 00Buckshot I intended to use before the US Forest Service burnt down my Pecos Wilderness Ranch this year in two out-of-control "Controlled Burns" called the Hermits Peak/Calf Canyon Fires. I, therefore, never shot this fine firearm after purchasing it from its original owner that shot it only a couple times, if any. I have the original recoil pad if you wanted to restore to "original".
It does have a hairline crack near the selector switch that is shown in the pictures. But for that it is perfect.
If you could only have one gun to travel the world and hunt, this would be it. With the correct bullet selection the 30-06 can manage all but the largest and most dangerous animals.
