OBERNDORF COMMERCIAL MAUSER BANNER 98 ARMY MODEL C 8X57MM CAL. HUNTING RIFLE DATED 1908 IN ORIGINAL WOODEN CASE. All original rare Army Model “C” Hunting Rifle in unaltered and excellent condition in the original German wood partitioned case possibly factory and true to the period of use. Excellent all matching and all original and outstanding early Oberndorf Army Model C Commercial 98. Oberndorf commercial markings and “1908” date stamp on receiver. Early 3xxx serial number. Stock with “Mauser” banner cartouche. Has nearly all the blue and stock finish. Shows only very light use. Perfect working order and excellent bright bore. Extra scarce.
