Description:
Serial #W21195, .45 Long Colt, 18" barrel with a bright, excellent bore. This is the Winchester Model 1873 trapper manufactured in Italy and imported by Taylors & Co., Winchester, VA.. The carbine length rifle is in excellent plus condition retaining virtually all, 99% plus original blue finish on the barrel and mag tube with equal amounts of vibrant case color on the receiver, hammer and lever showing only very minor blemishes from handling and storage. The checkered walnut stock and forearm are likewise excellent with some very minor storage nicks and handling marks. It has been embellished with a leather wrap on the lever and a leather Kirkpatrick butt protector made in Laredo, Texas and marked “73". It comes in the original cardboard box numbered to the gun. A great Cowboy action rifle or useful in areas where you can hunt with pistol caliber carbines. FFL
