RARE MAUSER OBERNDORF 8X60 S OR 8X60S MODEL S MANNLCHER SPORTER RIFLE CA. 1930’S W/ GELLER GIESSEN UHLENFLUCHT SCOPE IN CLAW MOUNTS. 20” barrel with folding leaf rear and ramp front original factory sights. Double set triggers and cleaning tool compartment in trap door factory butt plate with original olier and boresnake. Full length Mannlicher style walnut stock. 100% original and matching serial numbers in the 112,xxx range. Excellent with 99% original blue and stock finish. Mint bore. Perfect working order including the scope which has clear optics and leather scope caps and nice original black paint and clear crisp "Uhlenflucht"(owl's flight) over Gellen Giessen logo. The 8x60S was a caliber born out of necessity for Mauser(and other manu.) due to the Versailles Treaty abolition of military calibers.
