Description:
EXCELLENT Colt Super .38, ca. 1948. Pistol is in very good to fine condition, about 92-93%. It is wholly original except the barrel, which is dimensionally identical to the fat barrels used post-war. It looks to be a quality reproduction and may be army surplus. It functions as it should, cycles reliably and is pretty accurate, more so than myself.
There is some mild pitting on the right side of the slide, just forward of the grip serrations - not bad but noticeable. This pistol has seen use consistent with its age but is in nice shape overall. Maybe a collector's piece but certainly a shooter.
Comes in a labeled kraft box.
