The Springfield 1903 NRA Sporter was a limited edition rifle with a special sporter style stock issued by the DCM in the late 1920's and early 1930's. About 5,000 or so original Springfield 1903 NRA sporters were sold. This particular gun, SN# 1295546, was sold through the DCM on May 11, 1929. The stock on this gun has NOT been shortened. As you can see from the pics, the rifle is in extremely good condition and is a must have for any serious collector. Yes, I will be happy to send you more detailed pictures if you would like.
