Description:
Good shape overall but devil is in the details. The metal is mostly good; but there is a patch of deep rust on the barrel. The receiver has several patches of pin-prick freckling and the left side has a line of surface rust. The barrel might still have its original bluing; but the receiver has more than likely been redone. The finish on the wood is almost certainly not original to the rifle given that it was built in 1957. There are a few scratches here and there; but the worst news is that it looks like there might be a crack starting in the top of the wrist just behind the tang. Rifle seems to work fine and the two receivers match; so it has that going for it at least. .22 Long Rifle
