Itr has the customary V over P over eagle with a small LCR on the left flat. It is bright with brown staining and a few dings toward the breech. The lock is marked with the eagle over U.S. and S.N.&W.TY.C over FOR over MASSACHUSETTS. The lock and all other metal parts are bright with varying degrees of staining. The stock is about good with an old crack repair at the wrist, no other chips or cracks, light overall wear, and the barely visible outline of a cartouche at the rear of the left flat.
