Description:
For your consideration, a Rigby Highland Stalker "Adventurer" takedown rifle chambered in .30-06 Springfield. This handsome rifle is one of a limited series of twelve such pieces, of which only three have been imported to the United States. Removal of the barrel is accomplished by means of a Deely-type release on the underside of the forend. The plasma nitrided barrel is topped with a hooded front sight and folding leaf rear sight regulated for 65, 150, and 250 yards. These are supplemented by a set of 30 mm EAW Quick-Loc Pivot Mounts. The action is fitted to a hand checkered, half pistol grip stock of gorgeously figured grade 7 walnut. The safety is of the three position model 70 type. Other embellishments include certain details picked out in gold inlay and brilliant fire blued screws and extractor claw. Included is a hard case, leather-trimmed takedown case, cleaning rod, brushes, glass oil well, screwdriver set, and a leather portfolio containing the manual, test target, and other factory literature. .30-06 Springfield
