Coming from my personal collection, like new Ruger #1 in 375 H&H Magnum.
I bought the gun new back in about 1977, yes red recoil pad, no warning, all original with VERY nice wood., no dings, bluing is like when it left Ruger. Maybe 10 300 grain factory rounds have found their way down the barrel.
Yes, she has been in the safe.
She would make someone a nice collectors piece and not to be afraid to take her into the Alaskan bush.
