Shipping is actual cost with a minimum of $30.00 for pistols and $50.00 for rifles/shotguns to ship to most of the 48 contiguous states. Shipping to Alaska may require an extra fee. The Christensen Arms ELR Precision Hunting Rifle is designed for those who prefer to hunt targets at long ranges. It has almost all the bells and whistles found desirable in a 21st century hunting rifle. The 26” barrel is made of 416R stainless steel with wrapped in Aero-grade carbon fiber. It is free floating, uses a target profile, has a match chamber, and uses button rifling. As is standard for a 300 Win Mag, the twist rate is 1:10 inches. The receiver is made using 416 stainless steel and has an integral 20 MOA picatinny rail. Also featured is an enlarged ejection port to ensure proper ejection of spent cases. The twin-lug, spiral-fluted bolt uses an M16-style extractor and a fluted bolt knob. The safety is the standard two-position type, similar to that used by the Remington 700 rifle. The stock is made from lightweight carbon fiber composite, has a modified beavertail forearm, and uses spot bedding. It also has a tactical grip, dual front sling studs, and stainless steel pillars. Finally, the stock has 5 cup mounts for a sling, one on either side of the butt, one on either side of the forearm, and one on the bottom of the pistol grip. The match trigger is fully adjustable. The magazine is the internal box type and houses 3 rounds of 300 Win Mag plus one in the chamber. The rifle is equipped with a VERY nice Trijicon Tenmile® 5-50x56mm scope. The MRAD-style reticle is in the second focal plane. This means the reticle stays the same size at any magnification, with the crosshairs always on target. It uses a large, 34mm tube diameter to provide far better light than the typical scope, most of which use a 1” or 30mm diameter tube, with the former being the most common. It comes with a set of Trijicon Tenebraex flip caps. The elevation adjuster has a return-to-zero capability. Retail for this scope is $2781.00 new. The bipod is a standard aftermarket example. There are some high-end bipods out there on the market, but sometimes the simplest is better. This rifle is previously owned but has seen little use. The external surfaces of the rifle exhibit little to no wear, with the exception of the muzzle brake (see pictures). The bore itself is in pristine shape. Please bear in mind this rifle comes as shown. There is no box or accessories. Overall length is 48 inches (4ft or 1.219 m).
