Description:
This one is a very nice 73 round barrel 38-40 rifle, made in 1890 and is all original condition. It retains 30% fading blue with serial number 346038 B. The mechanical function is very good crisp and tight and the bore is very good bright and shiny with only traces of frosting. The wood is very good with only minor dings and small scratches. All of the markings are sharp. Only 4,100 1873 Winchester round barrel rifles where made. This is a very nice original 1873 38-40 rifle.
