Description:
This is a wonderful, high quality example of an English Side Lock Ejector Gun, made for the Army & Navy Coop Society... This fine gun was originally made between 1904 and 1925...As these guns are not maker marked, one has to make an educated guess as to maker...Preliminary research suggests it was  probably made by Webley & Scott ...A factory records research request has been submitted to Glasgow University, which may reveal maker and original owner...Results of search will of course be posted here...Anyway, the 28" barrels are choked cylinder and improved cylinder. 2 3/4" chambers, with excellent bores...This is a delightfully light field gun, weighing  just 6 1/2 pounds...Included are some nice features, such as a swamped, concave top rib, bushed firing pins and automatic ejectors...Length of pull is 14 1/4" over checkered wood. Drops are 1 1/2 and 2 1/2 inches...Cosmetically, this gun is superb. The full coverage engravings are exquistely executed and are quite sharp and new looking...And then there is the butt stock wood.  Absolutely breath taking...This fine gun has been completely refurbished and was reproofed in London in 2015...Overall excellent condition, with no issues...Ship to ffl or c&r...$100 flat fee registered mail shipping...

Research report from Glasgow U. reveals this fine gun was made to order in 1915 for one L.R. MacKintosk...

Originally made in 1915 and then brought back to new like condition in 2015...Kinda cool, eh watt?
