Description: THIS GUN HAS BEEN SOLD TO STUART. THANKS. This one is a .22 takedown, serial # S 550, two line address, half round, half octagonal barrel, putting it between 1894 and 1920. Decent condition except for a few "minor" beaver attacks on the buttstock. The beaver was dispatched and his hide sold for beer money in 1932. The butt plate has a hairline horizontal crack. As far as a cool little rifle goes, this one fits the bill and would be a great first rifle for a young one (pronounced as "young in" in Southern IN). Buyer pays shipping and yes, I will even break it down to save you money on the USPS new length sur charge. Yeah, I can send you more/better/specific pics if you need them. If you ask me how it groups at 50 yards, I may have to track you down and beat you over the head with it. OK, that might have been a little harsh, but you get the general idea. Buyer pays shipping.
