Description:
This New Model No. 3 retains over 80% original frame and barrel nickel finish, while the cylinder has over 65%. The case colors on the hammer, trigger and trigger guard are vivid and bright. It is matching serial number 22234 and comes with a factory letter stating it shipped Jan. 22, 1884 to Hibbard, Spencer, & Bartlett Co. Chicago, IL. The mechanical function and index is very good, crisp and tight. The bore is very good with strong rifling except for some very fine frosting from the corrosive black powder.
