Description:
This is a Colt New Line 38 rimfire with matching serial number 5859 and having nice mellow Ivory grips. This was made in 1876. It retains about 82% original nickel finish with a crisp Etched Panel 38 on the barrel. The cylinder has 65% nickel remaining. The mechanical function is very good crisp and tight. The bore is very good bright and shiny with strong rifling and a small amount of frosting. It has very good fitting, nice mellow color Ivory grips. This is a 5 shot 2 ¼” 38 rimfire spur trigger revolver.
