Half-stock of figured European walnut with horn forend tip, barrel key-fastener, classic period point-pattern checkering with mullered borders, and casehardened rear swivel mount. Casehardened standing breech, pineapple-finialed-triggerplate, sidelock, hammer, and pistol grip cap---all fine scroll engraved by Lynton McKenzie. Fire-blued stalking safety. Blued and scroll-engraved smooth steel triggerguard and buttplate. Horn-tipped walnut cleaning/ramrod fitted under barrel with three pipes. Pull: 14 3/8". Weight: 11lbs, 4oz. Built for R. L.
