Winchester 1885– Low Wall – Re-barreled .357Mag - Stk #P-34-52
This Winchester 1885 low wall manufactured in 1892 is chambered in the .357 Magnum. This rifle features a 28-3/8” matte blued 1” to 13/16” octagon barrel. It is mounted with a dovetailed front blade sight and shroud and an adjustable tang rear peep sight. The rifling in the barrel is in very good condition. The Walnut buttstock with steel butt plate and forend are in good condition, with usage dents and handling marks. Please Note: Both the butt stock and forend have cracks in them, both cracks appear to be repaired. The action has finish wear and some light sporadic pitting along with some tooling marks, but is tight and functions perfectly. The length of pull is 13-1/2”, overall length is 44”, and weight is 8.2 lbs. Our stock number is P-34-52.
