RARE FRENCH JEROME EXPERIMENTAL 19th CENTURY MINIATURE AUTO LOADING CANNON: In fine original condition. Circa 1880. 25 inch overall length. About 11 pounds heavy. 12mm centerfire caliber. Very good metal bearing a nice untouched age patina throughout. 11 ¾ inch barrel. Very good markings: “CANON A REPETITION SYSTEME JEROME” on barrel top. Excellent action and firing activated by the rotation of the lateral crank. Fine bore with excellent rifling. Mounted on on its original presentation wood platform. A fascinating and extremely rare cannon!
