Description:
SALE PENDING. 20 gauge L.C.Smith field grade with the hard to find 30" barrels. Built by Hunter Arms on a featherweight frame this gun has 30' armor steel barrels choked full and full with 23/4" chambers. The gun is in excellent original condition. It retains traces of the original case colors,95% of the original barrel blue,and 95% of the original wood finish. The bores are mint and free of rust,dents,or pits. The stock is sound with no cracks or damage and it retains the original buttplate. I have shot this gun on clays and on the pattern board. It is one of the tightest patterning guns I have ever shot. With one ounce of #6 shot it will put 90% of the pellets in a 30 inch circle at 40 yards. It would make a great turkey,pheasant,or long range dove gun.C&R eligible.
