WAFFENFABRIK MAUSER OBERNDORF A/N 1912. A totally original Commercial Mauser Sporter in 7/57 Mauser. This is an original pre WWI comercial sporter. It was not a cut down! It has not been re-blued, drilled or taped and the wood is in excellent original condition. The gun has deluxe 1/64 checkering, ramped front sight, rear tangent sight from 50 to 1000 meters and monte carlo stock. It's fitted with original sling swivels, wood button leather sling, and hinged floor plate. Every serial number on the rifle matches (see pictures). This is a fine example of a Pre WWI correct with "Waffenfabrik Mauser AG. Oberndorf A/N 1912 on the receiver ring. The original bluie remains 95-98%. The original stock finish at 95% and checkericking at 98%. The bore is in excellent shiney condition 95% and also comes with vintage box of ammo.
This rifle was made when Paul von Mauser was still alive. He passed away May 29, 1913 and left and everlasting legacy with the Gewehr 98 system bolt action rifle. No one has duplicated or beat it since
