Description:
Built on the proven Remington® Model 700®, the Varmint Bolt-Action Rifle has all the features you need for hardcore varmint and predator hunting, as well as precision long-range shooting. At the heart of the Varmint Stainless is the famous Model 700 action that has been proven for accuracy and reliability with the U.S. Army's M24 sniper rifle. The Varmint Stainless utilizes a heavy contour, stainless steel barrel for increased structural rigidity with less weight over a non-fluted barrel, and increased heat dissipation. The muzzle has a concave target-style crown for enhanced accuracy. The synthetic stock features a beavertail fore-end with three horizontal cooling vents. Dual sling swivel studs on the fore-end allow the user to attach a bipod and sling at the same time. An externally adjustable X-Mark Pro® trigger lets you find the desired pull according to preference. The 2-position safety allows the weapon to be loaded and unloaded with the safety engaged.
