Description:
Virtually every home with a "kitchen garden" had one of these, or a clone, at the door for pest control. They all feature a manual cocking knob, manual safety, and "iron" sights. They were chambered in Short, Long, and Long Rifle cartridges and were all under 5 lb. (this one is 4-1/2 lb). This one is unusual in that it has a peep sight and a walnut stock with finger groove. It sshows the wear that a 'tool gun" would accumulate with many scratches and digs in the wood. One can only wonder how many garden pests weree converted to stew meat by this rifle. .22 Short/Long/Long Rifle
