BSA medium length action fitted with custom 22 caliber barrel, unknown maker, 21" long, and chambered in 22 Bench Rest. Bore is VG-Exc.The factory bottom metal has been changed and the rifle is fitted with a detachable clip. Composite stock, 13 3/8" LOP over a black pad. Comes with 1 extra clip and 40 formed cases.
These early BSA actions from back in the 1950s-60s are very high quality. They are controlled round feed with Mauser type claw extractor. Two position safety which locks the firing pin and bolt.Fully adjustable trigger. This action is a good one to build on and will handle cartridges like the 6MM Rem, 257 Roberts or 7x57.
