International Flare Pistol Set with box and expired flares. This pistol was made by Kilgore Inc of Westerville, Ohio and is marked with the following numbers and letters: SERN, 0 PT 3.52 SG.G All on barrel frame. On grip frame: USCGAPPR and next line: 160.028/1/0. The pistol functions perfectly, bore is very good, brass has not been polished, original lanyard string is present. The original box is present with a brass plaque on top that reads the following: Signal Pistol and Pistol Projected Parachute Red Flare Distress Signals. A separate box inside the metal container has present 5 individual flares that may or may not function. The box is marked: Inspected and Passed US Coast Guard.
