Description:
Smith & Wesson No.2 manufactured in 1863, right in the middle of the Civil War. 6" barrel with a nice and sharp address. This No.2 is nice and tight and NOT wobbly like see with a lot of examples of this model. All assembly numbers match and serial number 11,333 is stamped on the butt as well as inside of right grip panel. Action functions nicely. Barrel is a gray / brown patina with some blue mixing in. Receiver retains some original blue throughout. Case colors still evident on the hammer. All in all an above average S&W No.2 with low serial number and is in the right Civil War range. Please feel free to ask questions.
