The Bushmaster® Varminter is a no nonsense AR-style semi-auto rifle made for delivering well-placed shots at long range, whether it be in hunting or tactical environments. To obtain maximum accuracy potential, the Predator features a free-floated heavy stainless barrel and a free float aluminum handguard that never touches the barrel altering barrel harmonics and effect accuracy. The rifle shoots 5.56 or .223 Rem. ammo and accepts standard AR-15 magazines. The Bushmaster Varminter is a superbly accurate semi-auto rifle, well suited for predator and varmint hunting, as well as long-range tactical engagements. 5.56x45mm NATO
