Description:
Rare early Grade 2E 20ga gun made with 28" barrels, original checkered splinter forend with engraved banjo roll type release. This gun made with Hunter One SST, Auto ejectors, auto safety. Straight grip buttstock checkered in point pattern through the wrist and terminates with an aging Silvers type pad. Gun is nicely engraved in typical Grade 2 pattern with birds in circles on sides and light scroll.
Overall, the gun remains in nice mostly original condition. Barrels retain about 95% of an older factory type restored rust blue. The stocks retain most of an older restored finish with typical incipient splits behind locks as seen in the photo, otherwise sound. The action retains traces of original color with good depth to the engraving. Trigger guard retains most of its professionally restored finish. Bores are bright and shiny. Mechanics are fine.
