This is a very nice example of a rare and original US Colt Cavalry Revolver from 1887. Included with the gun is a signed "Gold Star" Letter of Authentication from John Kopec, well-known author, historian, collector, and expert in these Colt revolvers. This two-page letter details the specifics on the history and condition of this particular gun (listed by serial number). Since John's letter is so thorough and complete, we will let it speak for itself. Photos have been taken of both sides. Please read it carefully.
