A superb example of a Portuguese contract holster for a BYF 42 Luger pistol. Only 4000 of the late BYF42 Lugers were made for Portugal in 1942 before production of Lugers was stopped in favour of P38. Beautiful cordovan color leather. Supple leather with intact stitching and no defects. The construction of the Portuguese contract holsters is very distinct and very different from German style holsters.
One of the best examples that I have seen.
