Description:
Franz Stock pistol, .380 acp (7.65mm). This is a very fine, high condition example of a Type I Franz Stock pistol. These were made from around 1921 to about 1932 in limited quantities. They were high quality, expensive pistols when new, with the high price probably accounting for the faily low production numbers.
This pistol is serial number 5566 that I will guess puts it near 1923 for its manufacture date; making it very close to 100 years old!
It retains 95% original finishes. It is just as tight and as mechanically sound as new. Mirror brigt bore and perfect grips.
