Many shooters and handgun authorities believe the Ruger New Model Vaquero is perhaps the finest single action revolver ever made by Ruger. With over 60 years of development, the Ruger single action revolvers have reached the pinnacle of single action design in the New Vaquero.
This Stainless Steel New Vaquero is certainly a beautiful example of Ruger's finest single action revolvers. Chambered in the ever popular .45 Colt, this revolver is perfect for Cowboy Action competition or carrying on the trail with power to spare for most anything encountered. Most Vaqueros feature a 5 1/2-inch barrel. However this Vaquero wears the very scarce 4 5/8-inch barrel and is perfectly balanced.The owner also had a $200+ professional action job done that left this Vaquero as smooth as silk with a trigger that breaks crisp and clean like an icicle in January.
This beautiful Vaquero also comes with 2 sets of custom grips as depicted in the photos.
THERE ARE NOT TWO GUNS - JUST TWO SETS OF GRIPS INCLUDED.
The fine-checkered wood grips are by Altamont and the beautiful faux stags are DuraGrips.
Also included is a very nice condition Hunter #1100 field-style holster.
This fine revolver includes $300+ of custom value-added features that when combined with its scarcity and desirability as a stainless 4 5/8" barrel New Vaquero make it an incredible value at $900.
