Description:
For sale is Styer Model MCA 30-06. MFG 1964 according to the date next to the proof mark on the receiver. Top of the Receiver is marked " Made in Austria - Original - Mannlicher - Schoenauer - Mod MCA- Kal 30-06. This rifle is fitted with Griffen & Howe Quick release 30mm Scope mounts. and a Carl Zeiss Disvari -DA 1,5-6x scope. THe scope is set at 1.5 and seems to be locked at that setting and cannot be adjusted up not sure if there is a set screw or something like that holding it at that power. Very clear glass with a post and beam style reticle. It has a butter smooth action as expected from a styer. The double set triggers are crisp and when set breaks at 1lb 8 oz consistently. The rifle has dents and dings in the stock from use and the bluing shows similar wear. Has a shiny bore. The rifle is mechanically in perfect condition.
