Straight out of the woodwork from a Georgia Estate. Colt 1911A1 #2346851 Manufactured in July/August 1945. This original example features Colts late Parko-Lubrite finish. Also of note is the ribbed Mainspring Housing, Serrated Slide Release, Narrow Spur Hammer and the Boxed "C" Barrel with a "7" forward of the lugs. All features of Colts late production.
1945 Colts are scarce and even harder to find in original configuration. Block Serial Number Font as well. This gun displays great.
