Description:
For sale is a custom .54 caliber under hammer muzzleloader eqipped with a false muzzle. I believe the twist to be approximately 1 in 48" . I purchased the gun from the estate of a longtime competitor at the NRA Wittington range at Raton, NM. The 32" octagon barrel is drilled and tapped with two 6-48 holes each at 1 1/2", 23 5/8" and 30 3/4" centered from the muzzle. There is an epoxy repaired spot on the right side at the wrist and the buttstock relieved to prevent further damage. A Pachmayr recoil pad is installed making the LOP 13 1/2". The bore is clean and shows no sign of rust when a clean patch is run thouugh the bore.The gun was probably used in long range slug competition but with that rate of twist shoulld also shoot patched round ball. Being a muzzleloader it may be shipped via USPS mail insured and tracked for $85 directly to you provided your local laws do not have some strange restrictions.
