Double Barrel Flintlock - Custom – 20ga. - Stk #P-34-69
This custom double barrel 20 gauge flintlock smooth bore has two 30-1/2” browned tapered round barrels with a brass bead front sight. The bores are in very good condition. The browned L&R Manton flintlocks with Arkansas sawed flints are activated by two standard triggers. The frizzens on both lock show signs of heavy use. The P grade Walnut stock is in very good condition with the exception or a repair just above the left front lock plate and some usage marks. The European furniture adorning the Walnut stock is polished steel. The trigger guard and nose cap feature a pineapple design. It also comes with a full length rod set in two browned steel thimbles. Good wood to metal fit - Maker Unknown. Condition: Good. Length of pull is 14-1/4 and 13-3/4”, overall length is 48-1/8”, and weight is 7.3 lbs.
