Ithaca 1911A1 #1453024 Shipped May 12th 1944 to Benicia Ordnance Depot, Army Point California. This was a staging area for Army personnel that was being deployed to the Pacific Theater for the Mariana Island Campaign.
This gun is 100% original finish and all the parts are correct Ithaca Manufactured. Blued High Standard barrel with awesome matching wear patterens. This A1 has no doubt been together since it left New York over 79 years ago. A true G.I. souvenir!
Frame and slide both have matching flaming bomb inspection marks which is a characteristic of early production Ithaca pistols in this SN# Range
