Here is a February 1940 Springfield Armory M1 Garand. NO 7TH ROUND MODIFICATION. Here's the breakdown:
Serial number 27241
Barrel 8-43 SA ME=3, TE=7, strong rifling, bore is slightly dark.
D35382 SA Op Rod
PB bolt
-12 SA trigger housing
-5 SA hammer
SA safety
round clip latch
Stock SA/R in an open box
Serif P in a circle on the grip
Has decent original finish. Not many of receivers around without the modification. Would be a great foundation for a gas trap build.
