I have for sale a beautiful Dickson and Son 12 gauge side by side with the great 2 inch chambers. If you have never shot a 2 inch gun you owe it to yourself to try one out. These guns pattern extrememly well and hit their prey extremely hard because of the very short shot string. This particular gun has several rare features. First it has 27 1/2 inch barrels, where most of these 2 inch guns have 26 inch barrels. Second it has a scalloped action where most have a straight action, and lastly it is made by John Dickson and Son the builder responsible for the Dickson Round Action. Stock dimensions are 1 1/2 X 2 1/8 X 14 7/8 over a very nice leather covered pad. Stock is cast off for the right hand shooter. I want to bring to your attention that at some point the stock was shortened and then the original piece was reinstalled. As you can see in the pictures it is very difficult to tell that it was cut but it is there. Again, the original piece of the stock was reinstalled so the grain and color matches as you can see. The barrels which ring like chimes are bored .727 both right and left and have choke constrictions of .007 in the right and .015 in the left. Case coloring is bright and beautiful as you can see. Barrel blacking shows a few light scratches, no dents or dings. The pictures I believe show the overall condition very well. Top lever is right of center and barrels are tight on face with the forend removed. Overeall this is one special little gun weighing only 5 pounds 9 ounces and would make a great upland gun. Again, if you haven't shot a 2 inch gun you owe it to yourself to try one out. You will impressed. Price of the gun is $6000 plus $50 shipping to your FFL. As always there is a three day, non-firing inspection period with the buyer paying shipping charges if returned.
