SOLD PENDING FUNDS...This Savage model 12 LRP in 260 Remington is a good and affordable long range rifle for someone to get into distance shooting. I purchased this new several years ago with the express desire of experiencing the Boomer Shoot held near Orofino, ID every spring. This I did, it was great fun shooting 4x4 or 4x6 inch exploding targets at up to 900 yards! For a factory gun with handloads it held it's own very well versus the other competitors. It's equipped with a 26" fluted free floated barrel, an adjustable target trigger, a 20 degree scope rail and fiberglass target stock. Between load development and shooting the match it has 320 rounds fired, still lots of life left in it as 260's aren't barrel burners like so many other long range calibers.
