Description:
You are looking at a RARE variation for the connoisseur Webley collector.

A matching number MK II ** Webley 455 caliber revolver with a 6" barrel.  Nearly all MK II models were made with a 4" barrel.  I have shown photos of this revolver to two world class Webley collectors and both stated they had never seen one before.  One ventured this might have been a custom ordered revolver.

The finish is a tad rough in places but the bore is bright and the action cycles properly single and double action. Cylinder indexes and locks up tightly.  In the photos you can see the numbers on the barrel and lower are matching.   I believe the stocks are original.

Unfortunately, as with most Webley 455 revolvers, the cylinder has been shaved to use 45 acp in moon clips or 45 autorim.  Even though the cylinder has been altered, this is still a rare variation to be sought after by collectors.
