Description:
PERIOD BRASS COPY OF COLT .36 BULLET MOLD
EARLY 1st MODEL SQUAREBACK 1851 NAVY
FREE SHIPPING!!

This .36 caliber bullet mold is a period commercial/ aftermarket copy of the ULTRA- RARE Colt M21 (Rapley ref. number) brass bullet mold for the early 1st model 1851 Squareback Navy revolvers. It's a very close copy. The only differences I see are that the locating pin is on the left side vs. right on the Colt molds and this one is longer (5-3/8") vs. 4-7/8" on the Colt. Of course this mold would also be correct to display with a 2nd model 1851 Navy too, the only difference being the 2nd model bullet has a grease groove and the 1st doesn't.
I've never even seen a 1st model Colt mold for sale. If you're lucky enough to find one you'll probably have to pay $600-1,000 or more for one!
The mold is completely original and un-messed with. No markings whatsoever. Nice patina overall.
