Description:
250-3000 (250 Savage), serial number 4122XX. 24" barrel, brass counter. Barrel shows extensive blue wear, retaining 40% with balance thinning. Receiver shows blue wear at high points and bottom of action, retaining 60% blue. Lever retains 80% bright case color. Original silver bead front sight. Marbles semi-buckhorn rear sight, Redfield peep sight with no alterations to stock or receiver. Bore is very good, no pitting. Wood shows extensive marring and finish loss, small hole behind forend screw (probably sling swivel attachment). Overall marring and flattening of checkering. Buttstock retains 70% original finish no cracks , small hole 2.5" from butt for sling swivel attachment. Correct original grooved steel buttplate with SVG logo. More photos on request.
